I found a book that I need, how do I contact the seller?
You must first register before being able to contact the seller. Once you have successfully registered, simply click on the price in the listing of books that are available. You will then need to Confirm that you are fully interested in purchasing the book, and we will notify the seller of this. If the seller decides to sell the book to you, they will be given your contact information at which point the transaction is complete.

Is it free to register?
Yes. It is and always will be free to register. If you see a book that you need that has been listed by a current member, we ask you to register to protect our members from getting spammed. Additionally, registering provides a method of contact between sellers and buyers.
We stand by our "Triple-M Satisfaction" in which we genuinely hope that our means, methods, and morals appeal to you and will motivate and encourage you to become a regular user of our site. Only when you start selling books is there a minimal charge.

What does it cost to list books?
It costs nothing to list books on the site. When you are ready to sell the book, the rate is simple, we'll give you 10 credits for $5 (20 if purchased before July 1, 2008). When you sell a book, a credit is redeemed, and 1 "Memory Tree" is planted because of you.
That gives you 10 (or 20 until July 1, 2008) books that you are able to sell for $5. This leaves a low cost of$0.50 (or $0.25) per book. Much better than the leading competitors.

What's a "Memory Tree"?
A "Memory Tree" is exactly what it sounds like; a tree that has been planted 'In Memory' of the tree that was chopped down and used to create the book that you are buying or selling. We are environmentally aware of the impact that books have and one of our main goals is to help keep the Earth sustainable through human existence.

Does someone physically plant a tree? If so, who?
Yes, for every book that is sold through CampusBooksale.co.uk 1 tree is planted. No need to grab a shovel and gloves, unless you desperately want to plant a tree, we have it covered. We've created a special partnership with a non-profit organization Sustainable Harvest International (SHI) to help us with the planting of the trees.
This organization helps provide environmental, agricultural, and economic advances to needy communities in many foreign countries. They have already planted over 2,000,000 trees and we hope to help double, triple, or even quadruple this number.

What do I do once I've submitted a book?
Once you have submitted your book, you must wait until someone wishes to buy the book. You could sit around and wait or you can help spread the word and get your books sold faster. We've started a Campus Reps Program to help drive more customers in concentrated levels.

When I click on "Add A Book" a funny window comes up. Why?
Our site uses an Ajax application launcher that will not display if you have javascript disabled. You must have javascript enabled in your browser for the site to work the way it is intended.

Will I have to ship anything out?
Our intentions are in our name. Our goal is to be able to find someone on your college Campus that needs a Book that you have, and make the sale that way. This is to reduce your costs, time and inconveniences with selling your books. Not only does it do this but it creates "Greener" colleges, "Greener" campuses, a "Greener" You, and a happier and healthier Earth. It is however possible for someone from another school to contact you about your book. If you're willing to ship it to them, by all means, go ahead.

What correspondence will I get from CampusBooksale.co.uk?
The only emails you will ever receive from us are responces or confirmations to direct electronic communications or infrequent informational emails regarding major updates/upgrades to our system or to request additional necessary information from you as a means of keeping our services as up-to-date as possible.

How long will my books remain on CampusBooksale.co.uk?
There are no expirations for book listings. This does mean however that if you sell the book elsewhere and don't provide this update in your MyBooks, you are still eligible to recieve notifications or offers regarding the book.

I sold my book elsewhere, how do I remove it?
To let us know that you've sold the book elsewhere, simply Login to MyBooks, click on the book you'd like to remove, and change the Status accordingly. Once you do this, you will receive 1 credit back towards listing your other books.
